I was so excited to make spot illustrations for The German Jewish Cookbook: Recipes and History of a Cuisine (Brandeis U. Press) as I very much enjoy Germanic food. The fact that I brought home-made Liptauer, an Austrian version of a German cheese spread, for lunch when working with one of the authors may have sealed the illustration deal.

I received a Women's Studio Workshop Art-in-Ed Artist's Book Arts grant in 2016. The grant included a living space, access to studio and workshop space, assistance in printing and binding and a stipend. I made an edition of 50 artist's books entitled Feminist Ships which is a silk-screened hardcover accordion book featuring women of the seas throughout history. Feminist Ships is in the collections of Harvard University, Yale University, The New York Public Library, The Library of Congress, University of Delaware, Vassar, Bucknell University, University of Michigan, Virginia Commonwealth University, Wesleyan University, Ringling School of Art and Design, Swarthmore College, and the Maryland Institute College of Art
